Spirit Quartz is also known as Cactus Quartz or Fairy Quartz, but Spirit Amethyst is a term to describe the dark purple pieces because in South Africa, the term 'Spirit' represents a dark purple color.
The Magaliesberg is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world at 2300 million years old, or 100 times the age of the Himalayas. It is considered "the cradle of humankind". The Magaliesberg Mountain Range is located in the Gauteng Province near Pretoria, South Africa. The small crystals that encase the bases of larger crystals identify Magaliesberg crystal, which forms as Quartz or Amethyst or a combination.
A large number of the Magaliesberg crystals exhibit the properties of a "record keeper" (one or more raised perfect triangles located on one or more of the crystal faces). Metaphysically a "record keeper" is a crystal within which wisdom is stored, and from which the ancient knowledge and profound secrets of the universe can be psychically retrieved.
All our crystals from Africa are ethically mined from small-scale miners.
Spirit Quartz promotes collective activity, such as in the community or at work. It is a bonding crystal for when a new member joins the family, or for helping step-families merge peacefully.
If you work in a public-service industry such as health care or teaching, it is helpful to bring a small piece of Spirit Quartz with you to focus on people needing teaching or care and not to be worn out by budget or pressures.
The more crystals growing on a single piece, the more powerful its energies because the many points all release energy. This stone helps one to find common ground with others in life.
Please note that the unique metaphysical properties of each crystal is based on testimonials and metaphysical experts knowledge. It is not a promise that the crystal will cure any ailments or solve problems.
As these are natural stones and crystals, there may be natural pockets or lines in the stone. The color may not be 100% true to the pictures due to the camera but we try our best to reflect the true color.
